About Us
Welcome to The Press Voice, a technology publication focused on helping readers understand budget and mid-range products before they buy them.
We cover the areas where specifications and real-world use do not always tell the same story: gaming laptops, PC hardware, monitors, TVs, gaming peripherals, mobile devices, accessories, home electronics, and smart devices.
Our goal is straightforward: explain what a product specification actually means, where a technical claim comes from, and what it can realistically mean for everyday use.
What We Cover
Our editorial coverage includes:
- Computers & Hardware — gaming laptops, PC components, memory, storage, processors, graphics hardware, charging, thermals, and performance-related questions.
- Consumer Electronics — monitors, TVs, home audio, displays, and other everyday electronics.
- Gaming & eSports — gaming hardware, peripherals, display performance, input response, and hardware-related gaming questions.
- Mobile Devices & Accessories — phones, chargers, cables, power accessories, and related mobile technology.
- Tech Gadgets & Smart Devices — connected devices, useful gadgets, and consumer technology for the home and everyday life.
A large part of our work focuses on the questions that are easy to overlook in a product listing. A display’s advertised refresh rate does not, by itself, describe input response. A charger’s maximum wattage does not necessarily mean a laptop will sustain that power under heavy use. Memory capacity alone does not tell the whole performance story.
These distinctions are where careful technical research matters.
How We Research Technical Information
We prioritize information that can be independently verified.
Depending on the subject, our research may include:
Manufacturer documentation
Official product specifications, technical manuals, support documentation, and compatibility information are used to establish what a manufacturer actually claims about a product.
Technical and industry standards
Where relevant, we consult established standards and certification information to clarify terms relating to displays, memory, connectivity, charging, wireless technology, energy use, and other technical specifications.
Independent testing and measurements
When reputable testing is available, we consider published measurements and testing results rather than relying solely on manufacturer claims. Sources are identified where they materially support the information being discussed.
Cross-checking
Important technical claims are compared across appropriate sources when necessary. When specifications vary by model, region, configuration, firmware, or usage conditions, we make that distinction clear instead of presenting one figure as universal.
Our articles may also explain when reliable evidence is limited. A clear “it depends” is more useful than presenting an uncertain claim as a fact.
Editorial Independence
The Press Voice separates editorial decisions from commercial relationships.
Advertising and affiliate partnerships may help support the site, but they do not determine whether a product is covered or how an article is written. When an article contains an affiliate relationship, sponsored element, or other relevant commercial connection, it is disclosed clearly within the appropriate content.
We do not treat a product’s price, popularity, or manufacturer marketing claims as evidence that it performs well. Our editorial focus is on explaining the available evidence so readers can make their own informed decisions.
Corrections & Updates
Technology changes quickly. Specifications can be revised, products can receive firmware updates, and manufacturers can replace or discontinue models.
When we identify a meaningful factual error, we correct it. Where a correction materially changes the information presented, the article may also include an update or correction note.
Readers can report suspected errors or outdated information through our Contact Us page.
Who Runs The Press Voice?
The Press Voice is founded and edited by Marcus Hale, whose editorial focus includes computers and hardware, consumer electronics, gaming technology, mobile devices and accessories, and smart gadgets.
His work centers on researching technical claims, checking specifications against appropriate sources, and turning complicated product information into practical explanations for everyday readers.
As the publication grows, additional contributors may be introduced. Any contributor information and relevant editorial qualifications will be identified on their author profile.
Advertising & Affiliate Disclosure
The Press Voice may use advertising, including Google AdSense, to support the publication.
Some articles may also contain affiliate links. When a reader makes a qualifying purchase through an affiliate link, The Press Voice may receive a commission at no additional cost to the reader.
Affiliate relationships do not change the technical specifications of a product or the evidence used to support an article. Advertising and affiliate disclosures are provided so readers can understand how the site may generate revenue.
